Legacy Award

This award recognizes outstanding SWASAP members who:

Demonstrated a significant contribution to the area of educational equity Exhibits professionalism and leadership through current and/or previous endeavors

Inspires innovation and/or influences positive change in the world around them

Demonstrates leadership through dedication and service to SWASAP and the TRIO community

And has been involved or worked in TRIO programs for 15 plus years

Nomination Procedures

Complete Nomination Form

- Provide a narrative about the nominee on a separate sheet of paper addressing the following:

- Describe and outline the nominee’s length of service to TRIO programs

- Provide other pertinent information supporting the nomination

- Provide a photo of the nominee

Application and all supporting documents must be received by: TBD

Outstanding Service Award

This award recognizes outstanding SWASAP members who:

Demonstrated continuing dedication to ensure educational equity Professionalism in implementing services or activities in his/her program and community

Their contributions to the TRIO community go above and beyond what is expected for the success of his/her students and respective program

Excelled in providing services to TRIO and/or to SWASAP at the local, state, or regional levels

And has been a member of SWASAP TRIO for at least 5 years
