  • This rate is for those staff who are not members, but are bringing students to the leadership conference.
  • This rate is for active SWASAP members and the students they are bringing to the conference.

The SWASAP Student Leadership Conference will be held September 29 - October 1, 2023 at Dry Creek Baptist Camp, 8237 LA-113 Dry Creek, LA 7063,

This year’s theme is “Prism of Possibilities: Exploring the Unknown."

The registration fee for the conference is: $300.00 (SWASAP members and student) and $350.00 (non-members and student).  The fees will cover the cost of food, lodging, and programming for the conference.  

We encourage payment by credit card, and will also accept checks and purchase orders. 

The SWASAP Student Leadership Conference is for all TRIO Students in grades 9 and above.  While we understand that TRIO often involves students in lower grades, the curriculum and events of the conference are tailored towards students from 9th grade to college level.

A Note About Registration Rates:

The registration rate displayed is based on your current membership level. If your membership expires or changes before the Annual Conference, your conference rate will change as well, and you will be expected to pay the rate that coincides with your new level of membership. 

For example, if you are an active member at the time of registration and your membership expires before the SLC conference, you will be prompted to pay the Non-Member registration rate, unless you renew your membership. Similarly, if you are Student Member at the time of your registration and your membership changes to Professional Affiliate, you will be required to pay the member rate instead of the student rate.

Note: Cancellation Policy: There will be NO refunds. Registration fees covers the cost of conference rooms, meals and activities.

Projects are responsible for travel costs, health insurance, and registration fees for all conference participants and staff listed on the registration.

Once registration has been completed, a form will be sent to you to enter staff and students' name, gender and shirt size.  Also, a list of items to bring,  the conference center contact information, and additional notes will be emailed to registrants.
