Student Support Services (SSS) Grant Writing Workshop

We are excited to be providing a grant writing workshop for Student Support Services.  This pre-conference will examine the major parts of the SSS application, as given in the regulations and the last Request for Proposals.  What kind of statistics should you gather for the Need section?  How can you ensure that you gather statistics that prove the need for SSS at your institution? What are best practices in choosing prospective participants for your program? What services must you provide?  What kind of commitments will boost your application’s chances of funding?  Finally, this workshop will discuss Competitive Preference Priorities and their importance to the funding process. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU CANNOT USE GRANT FUNDS TO PAY FOR THE SESSIONS, BUT YOUR ROOMS CAN BE COVERERED BY THE GRANT.

A Note About Registration Rates:

The registration rate displayed is based on your current membership level. If your membership expires or changes before the Annual Conference, your conference rate will change as well and you will be expected to pay the rate that coincides with your new level of membership. 

For example, if you are an active member at the time of registration and your membership expires before the conference, you will be prompted to pay the Non-Member registration rate, unless you renew your membership. Similarly, if you are Student Member at the time of your registration and your membership changes to Professional Affiliate, you will be required to pay the member rate instead of the student rate.
